It is now Feb of 2013. I am working in reducing my debt and becoming more self-sufficient.
When I get back from contracting in Kuwait I wil start my food storage. Right now I am learning the basics, making plans, trying to get my husband online.
What I really want to do is find some land back home in WA or ID, so I can build my own house and homestead. I will work up to living off the grid, grow my own crops, make many of the things that I need and raise some animals.
I would love to be able to make my home, or part of it, a Hobbit Hole like in Tolkien. Some of the many reasons that I want to move back West is I miss my family, basements and snow.
